There are plenty of guests you may end up with in your home that are uninvited. Some you will want to get rid of, while others you’ll want to stay. The good news is you can find out all about how to deal with them in the post below. Read on to find out more.
Humans - Welcome them
First of all, when we think of guests our minds go straight to our human friends and family. Indeed, while they may have not been invited formally to our home, that doesn't mean we are not glad to see them or eager to welcome them over our threshold.
With that in mind, dealing with unexpected, but welcome guests is just a matter of relaxing into the flow of things, and enjoying their company when they turn up. Of course to make things a little easier and less stressful on yourself, you can make sure you have refreshments in the form of some good food and drinks for just such an occasion. Adding entertainments such as an impromptu board game can be fun too!

Humans - minimize their stay
However, if they are imposed on by guests that were neither invited or are truly welcome, then it's best to do everything you can to minimize their visit. One of the best approaches to this is to let them know you have an appointment you cannot miss very soon and will be leaving the house. Then they will feel obliged to leave before you do!
You can also help to deter unwanted overnight visitors by not having a guest room, or air bed at their disposal. Then you can genuinely claim to have nowhere for them to stay!
Rodents
The other type of united house guest that many of us battle with is the kind known as pests. One of the most typical pests that push their way into our homes are rodents, and unfortunately, they come with many nasty diseases including lymphocytic choriomeningitis (LCMV) which can be very dangerous ro humans indeed.
Also because they climb over and chew everything, it's impossible to sanitize a home properly if rats are present. This means the best course of action is always to find a
rodent pest control service to eliminate the threat for you. Otherwise you run the risk of being exposed to the diseases rats carry.
Ant
Another common and uninvited house guest is the Ant. Tiny in stature, ants can cause big damage when it comes to your home. This is because many types of ants create their nests in the wooden structure in your home. To do this they hollow out entryways and living areas which in turn weaken the structural supports in your home making them less stable and prone to failure.
Some people swear by natural repellents such as citrus fruits, coffee grounds, and vinegar to deter ants from entering your home in the first place. However, if they have already established themselves within your property, chemical solutions you can buy yourself from the store, or professional exterminators is usually the best course of action.
