Pasta Fagioli for Christmas!

Pasta for Christmas? And in under 30 minutes?  Why, yes you can!  We love this delicious and hearty meal that is something everyone will like.  I also love it because it is made in under 30 minutes.  Let's find out more about this amazing dish.

Pasta Fagioli is properly named pasta e Fagioli in Italian.  It means "pasta with beans."  It's loaded with rich ground beef, fresh vegetables, beans, and pasta, along with herbs and a savory broth.  I recently served this dish with my Italian Beer Bread for a cookie swap for friends and they all told me it was delicious.  This dish is traditionally made in a much longer, stew-like fashion, but I am sharing with you my 30 minute version.

I consider this a comfort food.  It's a soup that can be a weekday meal or part of a nice luncheon for friends.  I started making this soup about 15 years ago and everyone in the family loves it.  The best part: you can make this all in one pot and under 30 minutes!
