My Take:

This heartwarming story by author Lee Tobin McClain shows that she is inspirational. As I read this book, I couldn't wait to see what would happen next, so I just continued reading! The author explores contemporary issues such as drug addiction and bullying in a way that leads us to understand Jax, one of the characters in the book. Kayla, who is going through her own trials, helps Tony and Jax navigate through Jax's traumatic childhood. This book is a beautiful Christmas tale that will have you feeling all the feels during the holiday season.
