Sometimes you just need enough dessert to satisfy a sweet tooth. I know my family likes to have dessert and this single-serving dessert is perfect to satisfy that sweet tooth! This one is made in the microwave and is delicious hot or cold. It's like a warm, peanut butter cookie, who can resist that?
I introduced mug cakes in 2012 and they went crazy! It's my crazy easy 3-2-1 Mug Cake that started this whole crazy journey! In this mug cake, I use brown sugar from Dixie Crystals. Dixie Crystals Light Brown Sugar is non-GMO pure cane sugar. It smells fantastic, with a light molasses flavor that brings this cake to its highest potential. I also trust Dixie Crystals to provide a quality product for my baking. They've been around for over 100 years!

Peanut Butter Mug Cake
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- a few chocolate chips
Instructions
- Prepare a microwave-safe cup with cooking spray.
- Add all ingredients to the cup and beat with a fork until all are combined. Add 1 tablespoon of milk if the batter seems too thick. Different peanut butter has a different consistency.
- Microwave for one minute 30 seconds or until the top looks dry and the cake has "puffed" up.
