The drink is said to have been first served in Cuba. It's a classic summertime drink with its cool mint and citrusy lime. The soda is a refreshing topper and the whole drink doesn't taste of alcohol, which is a bonus for me!

Grilled Strawberry Mojito
Super refreshing drink, perfect for BBQs.
Prep time: 5 MinTotal time: 5 Min
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoon sugar (superfine dissolves the easiest)
- 8-10 mint leaves
- 2-3 oz club soda (I use diet)
- 1 lime
- 2 oz white rum
- 3-4 grilled strawberries
Instructions
- In a tall glass, add the strawberries, mint, sugar, and some of the club soda.
- Muddle together until strawberries are broken and mint leaves are bruised.
- Squeeze the juice of 2 lime wedges into the glass, drop them into the glass, and muddle some more.
- Add the rum, some ice cubes, and top with club soda.
- Garnish with mint, add a straw and serve.
