Today I am sharing a very lemony margarita with you! It is a little bit on the sweeter side, but still tangy with a crisp sour flavor. Just like a good lemon! In fact, use the freshest lemons you have, and instead of plain sugar, use a simple syrup to sweeten the drink. It makes all the difference!

Lemon Forward Margarita
A sweeter margarita made with limoncello!
Prep time: 5 MinTotal time: 5 Min
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons lemon juice
- ½ cup simple syrup
- 4 ounces Tequila
- 2 ounces Limoncello
- 1 Lemon wedge
- Salt
- ice
Instructions
- In a shaker with ice, add simple syrup, limoncello, lemon juice and tequila.
- Shake vigorously.
- Using the lemon wedge, wipe the lemon around the edge of the glass.
- Dip in salt.
- Add ice the glasses, pour mixture into glasses and serve.
Notes:
For a sweeter drink, rim the glasses with sugar instead of salt.
