Bourbon Lemonade

My husband's birthday was Wednesday and we celebrated with this delicious cocktail. He loves his bourbon, and I wanted to make a cocktail that was a bit different from what he typically makes. He really liked it, so I decided to share it with you for Lemon Week!

With summer starting, there are so many front porch sittings waiting to happen and this cocktail is the perfect drink to relax with.  This is an easy and quick one to make, so keep a pitcher of homemade lemonade available and you can whip up one of these in no time.

Bourbon Lemonade

A perfect summer cocktail recipe

Prep time: 4 MinTotal time: 4 Min

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 ounces of Bourbon
• 1/2 ounce of Triple Sec
• 1/2 c homemade lemonade

Instructions

1. Pour the bourbon, lemonade and triple sec into a shaker and shake well.  Pour over ice and serve with a lemon garnish.
