Frozen or on-the-rocks, you can’t go wrong with this delicious drink. There are hundreds of varieties of the Margarita and one of my favorites is this Sweet Heat Margarita.
The only hard and fast rule I have for my margaritas is to make them homemade. This delightful recipe of my husband makes four large ones. You can make them in advance and store them in the refrigerator

Sweet Heat Margarita
A classic margarita with a bit of a kick!
Ingredients
- 2 oz Cointreau
- 2 oz Grand Marnier
- 5 oz tequila
- 7 oz lime juice
- 3 oz jalapeno simple syrup
Instructions
- Combine ingredients. Stir.
- Salt rim of a margarita glass.
- Add crushed ice to glass.
- Pour into glass and garnish with jalapenos.
