The "big game" for football is quickly approaching, and I have created this great appetizer using Twin Dragon wrappers. I love an app that you can hold in your hand and eat in a couple of bites, and using these wrappers meets both of those criteria. I am participating in a contest sponsored by JSL Foods. They graciously gifted me some eggroll wrappers for my participation!
My family loves Rotel dip with chips for a quick appetizer. We serve them at tailgates, sports gatherings, and other events. It's kind of a pain that the cheese gets everywhere, so this little recipe was born to keep our snack plates neat and clean!
I love using the eggroll wrapper from Twin Dragon. They are thick enough to hold up to the cheese yet when baked gives a satisfying crunch. As I mentioned before, this wrapper keeps the cheese from spreading across our plates. I love that!

Chili Cheese Cups
Ingredients
- 18 Twin Dragon Eggroll Wrappers
- 1 can rotel tomatoes, mild
- 1 lb ground sausage, cooked and drained
- 8 oz Velveeta cheese
Instructions
- Line cupcake tins with the eggroll wrappers, leaving a large opening at the top.
- Combine cheese, rotel and sausage in a saucepan.
- Stir until melted and hot.
- Remove from heat and let cool 10 minutes.
- Fill eggroll wrappers with cheese mixture, leaving approximately 1/2" from the top.
- Bake at 350 until wrappers are golden brown.
- Serve warm.
