Maple Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies #TasteCreations

Welcome to the cookie edition of Taste Creations!  We are excited to share with you some delicious fall cookies baked in our homes just for you!  My Maple Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies are so delicious with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate.

These come together in about 10 minutes and you don't have to turn on the oven!  What a wonderful thing, even in the fall.  If you know Missouri, it can be very warm even in October!

These are great in the lunchbox, after school snacks, or even just for a quick dessert after dinner.  They can be crumbly, so if you want, crumble one on top of your vanilla ice cream for a really wonderful treat!

Maple Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies

Maple Peanut Butter No Bake Cookies

These maple goodies are so easy to make. Cookies under 30 minutes and only one pot.
Prep time: 5 MinCook time: 5 Mininactive time: 20 MinTotal time: 30 Min

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c  sugar, or sugar substitute, granulated, like Splenda
  • 1/4 c butter
  • 3/8 c whole milk or heavy cream
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 1 t maple flavoring
  • 3/4 c creamy peanut butter
  • 2 1/4 c quick oats

Instructions

  1. Over medium heat, melt butter, sugar and milk, stirring as needed.
  2. Bring to a boil for 1 minute (do not go over, or sugar will crystalize)
  3. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, maple and peanut butter until peanut butter is melted.
  4. Add in oats and stir until well incorporated.
  5. Using a 1 T scoop, scoop dough and place it on parchment or waxed paper.
  6. Flatten (if desired) with the back of a spoon or the bottom of a jelly glass.
  7. Cool.

Notes:

Use creamy peanut butter, as the natural peanut butter has too much oil and will make the dough oily. Cook for one minute only! Using Splenda reduces the carbs from 15 to 8g per cookie.
