This month a group of friends will exchange handmade fall cards. We have been doing this for over 20 years, skipping some years in between. Covid-19 had us looking at restarting this event as many of us had time on our hands for the first time in years.
This simple card was inspired by the cards made by The Crazy Craft Lady. You can see her work on her site, here. She has a lovely, delicate touch that I greatly admire. None of my cards were delicate, but I enjoy trying!
Another thing I decided to do was to do a pen outline. This allows me to be a lot more forgiving when it comes to the actual watercolors. They can be messy and not in line, but that adds to the charm!
All you need for this easy card are:
- notecards
- watercolors
- a round brush
- thin Sharpie marker
