Chai Muffins #backtoschooltreats
School is going to be far different than any of us could imagine it would be. I am so happy to participate in this Back to School Treats party with the best bloggers in the business! We have all kinds of treats for you this week! Check the list of bloggers below and visit them daily to learn some new recipes for your family.
As a retired school principal, I can tell you emphatically the decisions you make for your family are the right ones. Don’t let anyone make you second guess what the “right” thing to do is going to be. You know your students better than anyone. Make the decision you feel is right with the knowledge you have now. If things change, then you can too!
My treat for you is Chai Tea Muffins. These muffins appeal to kids because they have cinnamon chips in them and they will appeal to you because they taste like a warm and comforting chai tea. If you haven’t made a chai tea for yourself, check out my recipe for that here. That's the best you can do in the stressful back to school season. Maybe those muffins can't move mountains, but they will definitely be a good school or college homework help or motivation. I love them warm from the oven with a pt of Irish butter and some strawberry jam. My husband loves them with apple butter. Either way, they are delicious, warm, and satisfying.
What a fun idea for a muffin. Love chai.
ReplyDeleteLooks great, and I've got some cinnamon chips stashed in the cabinet, can't wait to give these a try!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of cake mix spice. Going to have to Google that one.
ReplyDeleteWill be making this recipe in the future - if I can find the cake mix spice.
You had me at cinnamon chips!! Yummm!!
ReplyDeleteThere is not one thing that I don't like about this muffin....love all of the flavors.
ReplyDeleteI have an Indian friend who told me saying, "chai tea" is like saying, "tea tea" because chai is tea in India. Either way, these look delicious.
