Three women, in different parts of the country, take a DNA test and learned that they were related as half-sisters. After getting to know one another, they decide to meet at a family cabin in Lake Tahoe. The setting is beautiful, but the girls get off to somewhat of a rough start.
Given that perfect opportunity presents itself for all three women, they decide to stay for the summer and get to know each other. The way the author weaves their stories together, the way that each character is fully and uniquely their own person, keeps you riveted to the book.
In the end, a wonderful fourth character, a WOW! ending and a story that puts tears in your eyes and a smile on your face, you will be glad that you had this book on your list.
