I started this cookie with one of my favorite cookie mixes, the sugar cookie mix from Aldi's. It is a delicious mix and, you can refrigerate it and roll it out for cutout cookies, too!. I choose to scoop it out, as I like a chewy sugar cookie.

Cherry Sugar Cookies with White Chocolate Glaze
prep time: 7 Mcook time: 20 Mtotal time: 27 M
ingredients:
- 1 package Aldi's sugar cookie mix
- 1 t Cherry flavoring
- 1 egg
- 8 oz butter, softened
- 2 cubes white almond bark
- maraschino cherries
- sprinkles
instructions:
How to cook Cherry Sugar Cookies with White Chocolate Glaze
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Pour sugar cook mix into a mixing bowl along with cherry flavoring, butter, and egg.
- Beat until the dough gathers into a ball.
- (At this point, if you want to make cutout cookies place in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.)
- Scoop into tablespoon-sized balls.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until bottoms are golden brown.
- Let cool completely.
- Melt the white chocolate.
- Dip cooled cookies into the chocolate.
- Dip into sprinkles.
- Let chocolate harden.
- To make the maraschino cherry flowers, check back in soon!
