Rigatoni is a ridged, tubular noodle that catches the sauce, It is often used in casserole-type dishes. In addition to ensuring sauce in every bite, it is a great conveyor for cheese, too! This casserole is flexible enough to use ziti and other pasta shapes if you don't have rigatoni. You can change up the cheeses, too, if you like ricotta instead of mozzarella. The ground beef can be replaced with ground turkey or even shredded chicken. Both make a delicious casserole.
Just add the casserole to your holiday table. Even folks who love turkey and all the fixings will take a scoop of this yummy dish. Who knows, you might start a new tradition.
