What’s Got To Go
So the first thing that you need to do, is think about all of the things that really need to go. If the hoarder inside you is telling you that there’s nothing at all that needs to go, then it’s time to look a little bit deeper. We often clog up our homes with unnecessary things that we don’t need, and the biggest culprit here is clothes. If you think about all of the clothes that you’ve hoarded over the years, it’ll probably be a mountain. They’ll most likely be stuffed in draws, cupboards, or the wardrobe. So, we’d encourage you to get a big bin bag, and stuff all of the clothes you seriously don’t use there. Then, somewhere close to you, you should be able to find a center that weighs them in exchange for money. If you really are a big hoarder you could get a lot of money for this!
What Needs To Be Saved
Somethings you just can’t let go of. It might be that you’re going to need them again when the summer comes round, or it might be that they just have so much sentimental value that you can’t get rid of them. If you do have a ton of summer items that you know you’ll need next year, why not think about temporary storage. Storage facilities are an excellent way for you to have a place to keep all of the things you know and love, without them clogging up your home. Plus, it’s something you can keep adding to over the course of a year or two, and eventually you might move into a bigger home that fits them all! But it’s just nice to have a safe location to store all of your goodies.
A Deep Clean
Now for the one you’re going to hate the most, the deep clean. A deep clean leaves your house looking and feeling so fresh, you just need to do it a room at a time. We’d focus on the two areas that collect the most dirt, the bathroom and the kitchen. Articles like this one should show you the best ways to get the deepest clean!
