Strawberry Lemonade Ice Cream Pie

This lemonade pie is the perfect blend of creamy and tart. It is a breeze to make and a wonderful dessert to bring a summer event. Keep it in the freezer before serving.  We've just had the hottest summer on record, and this is a great way to cool yourself down.




I love serving this on a summer evening, with a gathering of friends, and it is so pretty!  I love to decorate the edge of the pie with sprinkles from Sweet & Treats. Their sprinkles are as pretty as this pink pie.


While this is such a delicious and easy ice cream pie, there are a lot of recipes below that are delicious and worth the time to make them. Pick one out and give it a try. In the meanwhile, one of my favorite recipes this summer is this Goat Cheese Ice Cream.

Strawberry Lemonade Ice Cream Pie

A simple dessert with a variety of options.
prep time: 20 Mcook time: 1 hourtotal time: 1 H & 20 M

ingredients:

  • 1/2 gal vanilla ice cream
  • 1 graham cracker crust
  • 1 envelope of strawberry lemonade Koolaid, unsweetened

instructions:

How to cook Strawberry Lemonade Ice Cream Pie

  1. Thaw ice cream.
  2. Sprinkle Koolaid into ice cream and stir gently. 
  3. Open graham cracker crust and pour ice cream mixture into crust.
  4. Refreeze ice cream for a minimum of one hour.
  5. To serve:  remove the pie from freezer and let soften 8-10 minutes.  
  6. Cut and serve.
