Spring Salad with Herb Garden Dressing
A spring salad with freshly grown lettuce and salad dressing made with herbs from your herb garden.
prep time: 15 Mcook time: total time: 15 M
ingredients:
For the salad
- 1 head of butter lettuce
- 1 cup chopped ham
- 1/4 c red onion
- 1/2 c shredded mozzarella cheese
- This will serve 4 people
For the dressing
- 3/4 c mayo
- 1/4 c sour cream
- juice of one lemon
- 1/3 c freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 c herbs from your garden, chopped
- 1 clove garlic
- salt and pepper
instructions:
How to cook Spring Salad with Herb Garden Dressing
For the salad
- Wash lettuce and remove leaves.
- Divide between 4 plates.
- Divide ham, onion and cheese between the plates.
- Serve salad dressing separately and let each person top their own salad.
For the dressing
- In a food processor, process all ingredients until smooth. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.

ReplyDeleteI love making fresh salads for lunch and can't wait to try making this dressing recipe. I have most of the ingredients on hand but will pick up the sour cream and ham and give it a try! Look so tasty!
