I was given the opportunity to read Love Me, Crazy by Laura Burton. It is the first in the series of Love Me books and I am so excited to be a part of this author's book series!

Review: This is a fun twist on a romantic novel. You will fall in love with Audrey quickly as she is a regular woman with a wonderful and vivid personality. She serves as an aide in a school where she hopes to become a full-time teacher. I love that this wish to be a teacher is woven throughout the story. She meets Tom when he comes to the school as a replacement for their pastor who has turned ill. Tom quickly captures the hearts of the students and teachers at the school, so Audrey is very happy when Tom seeks out her attention. Audrey quickly realizes that Tom is not for her, and wants to break it off with him gently. Tom doesn’t seem to understand her hints and even proposes to her!

In the meanwhile, Jack is present at a dinner that Audrey’s parents are hosting. Audrey doesn’t realize that Jack will be there and brings Tom along with her. It is at her parents’ home that Audrey realizes that Tom isn’t who she thought he was, and, finds herself attracted to the charismatic Jack.

What ensues is a back-and-forth tug-of-war between the two men and Audrey’s affections. It becomes dangerously clear that Tom is not mentally stable and eventually he fakes his own death. He reveals himself to Audrey and explains why he did it, but Audrey is acutely aware that Tom isn’t safe to be around.



What happens next will have you glued to the book. Which man will come out to be Audrey’s true love?
