I was so excited to get paired with Amy Bartlett from Savory Moments. Amy is the mom to twins, which I love, and runs a blog that is dedicated to healthy eating, eat locally, eat seasonally, savor the food culture and foraging. My own grandmother took me with her to find poke salad every spring, and my dad foraged for mushrooms each spring. Below are all her social media contacts so you can follow her, too!

Being from Buffalo, Amy knows her "buffalo" dishes. I learned from her blog that if you want the dish to be hotter, use less butter and if you want it milder, use more. I also learned that Buffalo people are serious about their bleu cheese. No ranch, ever.
Another aspect of #FoodBloggerLove is to shower some love in the form of food. Amy likes pizza, coffee, whiskey, winter squash, and apples. We can create a recipe or duplicate one of hers or update one of ours to Amy's likes.
Since we are in the dead of winter, a whiskey cocktail just sounded lovely. A warm version that will keep her warm in Western New York! This one combines her love of coffee and whiskey!
Amy's Cozy Cocktail
4 oz freshly brewed coffee1 oz of your favorite whiskey
3/4 oz kaluha
1/4 oz simple syrup
1/2 oz cream
pinch of ground cardamom
Shake all ingredients together except cream. Pour into a clear glass mug. Pour the cream into the coffee. Top with whipped cream if desired. Serve.
Loved reading your blog, Amy, and want to return to Buffalo and stay longer. There is a lot there that I would love!
