Cranberry Cream Cheese Spread #tastecreations #cranberryweek

Our Thanksgiving table tends to look the same year after year, and mainly because I insist that we have roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, dressing, homemade noodles, homemade rolls, and cranberry sauce. Once I learned to make homemade, there was no turning back. Homemade cranberry sauce is delicious.

Delicious, spreadable cranberry cream cheese spread great for toasted bagels or as an app!

After a little Google digging, I learned that Ocean Spray sells 20% of their cranberry harvest in one week: the week before Thanksgiving!  That's nearly 80 million pounds of them!  Ocean Spray is the largest cranberry company since 1930, owning 75% of the cranberry farms in the US. That's a lot of farms!

Cranberry Cream Cheese Spread

The recipe I am sharing with you today came from the fact that so many cranberries are sold in November. Why shouldn't I enjoy cranberries all year around?  Thus the inspiration for this Cranberry Cream Cheese spread.

You don’t say how many ounces that the packages of cream cheese should be?
