I have so much to share with you this week. A little bit of travel, a little bit of food, some fun things I have purchased!
Lodge of the 4 Seasons, The Village of Four Seasons, Missouri
My work prefers to use the Lodge of the 4 Seasons as its go-to meeting space. The Lodge has been around since 1964 but the exterior has been kept up. The Lodge boasts one of the best spas in the area, Spa Shiki and two golf courses. When I spend the night, the rooms smell a bit musty and sometimes the drawers slide out, but overall a very comfortable stay. As you can see, the room itself is nice.
Fall Mug
Are you like me and like to have your mugs match the season? I found this mug at Pier 1 when I was looking for new throw pillows for the porch. Didn't find the pillows but found this awesome mug!
Rainbows
Rainbows have a very special meaning to our family. My father-in-law loved rainbows and loved the story of God's promise to never bring havoc down on us again. He'd be delighted when a rainbow would appear. On the morning of his funeral, we were all in awe when we saw the gorgeous rainbow that appeared over his house. We have some lovely pictures of that rainbow. The whole family collects photos of rainbows and here are a few of the ones I captured with my phone this week.
Mosaic Art Fair at Saint Charles
One of the most fun events for us is the Mosaic Art Fair in old town Saint Charles in September. The event is for families, having a gigantic kids area where they can make art pieces to their heart's content. There are over 100 juried artists plus food, cocktails and entertainment. This year it was super hot, but still had a lot of fun.
I hope each of you have a wonderful weekend, full of memory making events, some self care time and good food to share with family and friends! The weather in Missouri is supposed to break, so get out and enjoy it!
