- Pick out my clothes the night before
- Organize my book bag
- Set my alarm for 30 minutes before I had to get moving
- Make my lunch the night before
- Go to bed on time!
If I had all of this in order, then my mornings were a breeze! Even now, without children in the home, I still have to organize myself to have a smooth morning. The transition between sleep and activity is a hard one for me!
Make sure you leave plenty of time for a sit down breakfast. This isn't always easy, but try to make it the norm rather than the exception. Come to the table ready for school, all bags packed and by the door, all notes signed, lunches packed. Then enjoy one of these wonderful breakfasts!
