This month we are celebrating all things lemonade at Foodie Extravaganza, where we celebrate monthly national food holidays! If you are a blogger and want to join us, find us on Facebook! This month our hostess is Lauren of Sew You Think You Can Cook.
This lemonade is served at a local tea room called Miss Aimee B's here in St. Charles (MO). It is so good and refreshing. You can make it an adult drink by adding a shot of vodka to your serving if you choose!
I love children's lemonade stands and this lemonade would be a fun one to try! The sparkling part comes from the club soda and watching it fizz and bubble as you pour a glass for your customer would be a lot of fun. If you like lemonade stands, too, I have a Pinterest board dedicated to lemonade stands here.

I'm glad you added the comment letting us know it would not curdle. Is it kind of like a buttermilk consistency when you are ready to use it? Sounds very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of anything like this before. It looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteWHAT??! Sparkling water and milk?! That's a combo I never ever thought of before!

ReplyDeleteOh, that sounds tasty. The problem a lot of times with lemonade is that it is too tart. I think this would not have that problem. Sounds good!
ReplyDeleteIs this a southern thing because I have NEVER even heard of this? Milk, lemonade and soda? Maybe I've just led a sheltered life? lol!
ReplyDeleteI would have never thought of this combination, but I'm curious! I've had frozen lemonades that have vanilla ice cream, so that might be the closest I've come to milk and lemonade :)
ReplyDeleteFirst time I've ever heard of this... now I'm intrigued! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a unique recipe! I am pinning for sure!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of mixing milk into lemonade! Such an interesting idea... I can't drink regular milk. I wonder if it changes anything using almond or coconut milk?
ReplyDeleteThis is such a refreshing and unique twist on traditional lemonade. It is always such a soothing reminder of the summer for me from my childhood.
ReplyDeleteYums! That looks like such a refreshing yet different approach to a Summer drink. I think I may try it with coconut milk instead though!

ReplyDeleteThis one is new to me but sounds interesting!
ReplyDeleteNever though to add milk to lemonade before. Sounds perfect to add a bit of creaminess.
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of anything like this before! What an interesting combination. I always made smoothies growing up with orange juice/milk/strawberries/banana, so I know the citrus and milk is a good combo - might have to give this a try!
ReplyDeleteI've never had milk and lemonade before but it sounds really good. I'll have to give it a try for the kids.
ReplyDeleteThis is a new idea for me, but it sounds really interesting! I am going to have to check it out this week!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of milk lemonade. I'm not sure I would think about using milk with lemons either. This sounds like it would taste goof though!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have pegged milk and lemonade as something to try, but this looks really good. I'm super curious about how it tastes!

ReplyDeleteI never would have through of it, but it sounds good. I think the creaminess would compliment the lemon really well.
ReplyDeleteAgree with the other comments. That's def not something you think would go well together but now i'm intrigued and I want try!! :)
ReplyDeleteI remember lemonade stands when I was a kid. I hate that a lot of towns are making kids stop having them without a business license. One of the dumbest things ever I think. I've never had sparkling lemonade and I haven't heard of adding milk either. I will have to give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI have never thought to put milk in lemonade. And with club soda to boot! I can't wait to try it, though! Thanks for joining me this month.
