3-2-1 Cake

Wanting a quick dessert?  This delightful 3-2-1 Mug Cake is for you!  This comes out about the size of a cupcake, a perfectly controlled portion!  Try 3-2-1 Mug Cake, you will love how easy it is.

All you have to do is to mix an ANGEL food cake mix (must be angel food) and a cake mix of your choice of flavors (I had a yellow mix) and dump them into a large ziplock together and blend the two mixes well.

Why this mug cake?

The combined cake mixes make an instant treat, just a minute away from eating.  It's ready to go in your pantry so no extra ingredients are needed.

Why do you need an angel food cake mix?

The angel food cake mix provides the needed ingredients to make the cake rise.  I also found that if you use a reduced sugar version, you can save some carbs, too.

  1. Sounds like a good thing to me. So you mix it up in the zip-loc and save it until the next time you need a fix and then make another. It might actually prevent a lot of us from roaring through a dozen cookies or eating an entire cake. I had a cake in a mug mix on my blog once and until now have promptly forgotten it. Thanks for the reminder!
