| An English bell for Tea Time! |

My table is set with china from England. My grandfather, Raymond Wade Holt, bought the china while he was overseas in England and had it shipped to my grandmother. It is from Sheffield, England. It is white bone china, set in platinum, with a delicate border of green and white flowers.
The candy cups were purchased from a gift shop in Kirksville where Bob and I attended college in 1978. When I saw them, I fell in love with them!
Sit down for a bite to eat! My tea box is full of choices from around the world. There is even a packet of Boston Tea Party Tea. On our menu for today is a grilled turkey keilbasa and Alice Bird's Crumb Cake, a recipe from 1869. Alice Bird was a P.E.O. founder.

Just in case you desire something a bit more fanciful, you may have some of this flowering tea which is not only tasty but pretty to look at as well!

A lovely table and the china is very nice. Did your grandfather select it all by himself? You have a great selection of teas, very lovely pretties for the table. I don't know if I've ever seen little candy cups like that. I might've thought that they were something else.

Your tea party looks like it was a success!
Independence was out of school yesterday.....as many other districts. The snow wasn't so terrible yesterday morning, but the icy roads caused lots of wrecks. Bet the districts who did cancel were glad they made that choice.
Hope you're having a great weekend!! Mine would be better if this danged snow would stop and if the temp was around 70....and sunny! :)
