I love Chalkboard Paint...
and so does Beth at The Stories of A to Z . She is hosting a Party featuring different ways to use chalkboard paint. Go and check it out for creative ideas!
I have a huge bulletin board behind my desk at work that I have painted with chalkboard paint. I hope I can write little messages to myself and then erase them when I am done.
I love the chalkboard paint markers. They don't rub off. It takes water to remove it!
My latest project was my pantry. I needed desperately to clean it out (and I did) but I also wanted to make a place for notes (like what to buy at the store). I grabbed my can of chalkboard paint and painted in a square on the inside of the pantry door. I love it!
I have some more ideas for making my pantry better but for now just enjoy the message board!
I also love chalkboard paint!!! Didn't know about the markers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea. And, I am most impressed with your pantry. That's on my "to do" list which I keep putting off until I am desperately seeking something. Thanks for the nudge.
ReplyDeleteBest,
Bonnie
That is really cute Terri!
ReplyDeleteAnd the fact that you cleaned your pantry and made it so pretty is quite the job. I think get started on projects like that are the hardest part. It seems once you get going it's not so bad.
Have a great day friend,
Cindy

I'll be eager to see everyone's creativity.
ReplyDeleteYour pantry is indeed very organized. Great idea with the chalkboard paint. I may have to try that.
ReplyDeleteI really like your header.
What a great idea! And fun too!
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to do this in my pantry for awhile now to keep track immediately of used-up items. I think I need to! Looks so cute!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. Like your chalkboard memo board on the door. I am going to recommend this to my daughter.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I just need a pantry!!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, this way I might actually get the Hubs to write it down when we run out of something!

I really think that is a great idea for the inside of the pantry - I could make lists of what I need so my grocery trips wouldn't be so "hmmm... do we have that?" and coming home with either too much or too little!
ReplyDeleteAdorable, Terri!

ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!

Kat
I've been wanting to use chalkboard paint but just haven't found the right project. Love the idea of using it in your pantry.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen the markers before. Guess I'll have to keep an eye out for them.

ReplyDeleteTerri,
ReplyDeleteI love this! Very cute! I think this would work well inside a kitchen cabinet too. I must say also your pantry is much neater than mine at the moment.
Definitely agree about using this with kitchen cabinets. Thanks for talking about this great topic!
