Bob and I head to Kansas City to see the Royals play ball against the Chicago White Sox. We stopped and shopped at World Market where we got such good deals on wine, Italian sodas, cheeses, dishes and more! I am sure you will be seeing some our purchases on other posts!
We love baseball and although the Cardinals are our team, we enjoyed seeing the renovations at the field. The fountains are so much fun!
You can sorta see the fountains in the background. Love our Pinto blue? These are my school colors so we wore them to the game since we don't own anything from the Royals! We love baseball and although the Cardinals are our team, we enjoyed seeing the renovations at the field. The fountains are so much fun!
Can you imagine? Bob wanted a dirt sundae, complete with gummy worms!
The stadium.... lots of things for kids to do, a Hall of Fame museum, lots of restaurants and of course, the fountains!!
We are heading away for the weekend. I'll see you Monday with another post for Mosaic Monday. Hope all of you have a fabulous Fourth of July!!
I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to KC & the Royals' game....I thought of you guys when I heard on the news they'd lost AGAIN!! Those Boys in Blue just seem to struggle--but at least they're struggling in a gorgeous stadium.
ReplyDeleteYou were very near us when you were at World Market...that place is fun.
I hope you have a great 4th, too....I've been preparing for it all day. NOW I'm going to take a nap before our family arrives!!

How fun!!! You know Kevin is a die-hard lives and breathes Red Sox fan, but KC has always been his second favorite team!
ReplyDeleteOooh, I LOVE baseball, tho' the Braves are my team. It sounds like a great time was had by all!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I love me some World Market, too. They have got a tad fancy the last decade or so, but I still enjoy going there.
Happy 4th, Triplet!
Have a wonderful trip. Be safe.
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th

Mom and I were in KC yesterday. WE went to World Market also. I can't believe we probably JUST missed each other. That is really wild!!! Happy 4th and be safe in your travels.
ReplyDeleteBack in the day, Cookie Rohaus (sp) was my favorite Royals player. Looks like you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteTell Bob that gummy bears and chocolate DON'T mix;)
