Something Different...
For dessert after my Mother's Day meal, we went to a new place called Lollicups. They specialize in milk drinks. They can add an ingredient called bobas. Bobas are a large type of tapioca that you can suck up through a special, oversized straw. It was really good! Try it if you get a chance!
To answer Jenny's question about being slimy, they are more like soft gummy bears!

That looks like something I'd like. Is this in Jeff City?
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of this...interesting.
ReplyDeleteOh! They use those tapioca balls in bubble tea, also!
ReplyDeleteHmmm.... are they slimy? Sounds interesting, though. Glad you found a special treat you liked so much!
ReplyDeleteTerri, you are right! I have missed lots of your great posts!! I haven't been spending as much time at the computer---I just miss out on so many great folks like YOU! But, I just caught up and so enjoyed myself. I just wished I had one of those yummy drinks you featured from Lollicups--to sip on while I read!! I don't think we have that in KC, yet.
ReplyDeleteYour mom's day looked wonderful! You and your hubby are so lucky to have your moms. My hubby lost his when we were in our early thirties and I lost mine 5 years ago. I think it's wonderful that your mom is still so active with a business! Awesome. I know where Brookfield is,but I've never visited there.
I got such a kick out of your bedroom redo! My hubby hates those "slick" comforters, too. I love the way yours turned out--inspirations are good, but that's just what they are. . . inspirations. Plus, you pulled yours off in a very economical manner!
I so enjoyed all of the beautiful flower photos you shared. I thought the Missouri dogwoods were just amazing this spring.
Wilson looks like a real sweetie--his new summer "do" is so cute. How could the dog of an educator get anything but a wonderful report card? :)
I know this is a wild time of year at school---I recall those days. My neighbor is a teacher in a nearby elementary school---she's such a devoted teacher and puts in very long hours. SHE is ready for a little break----after she teaches summer school!
Take care! Dana
Wow, Terri, I haven't seen these but it does sound yummy.

It looks good. I will try it if I get a chance...must be filling, too.
ReplyDeleteWow, I haven't heard about this place. Do they have a variety of flavors? I would love to take my friend Paul there. He's into stuff like this!
ReplyDeletePS - I told mom about your cool scarf purse. I think we have a mission when we go to St. Lou over Memorial Weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of the Boba... *shiver*!!!
