Pink Saturday!
This strawberry cake is one of my favorites to make in the spring. It is so simple and delicious!
1 strawberry cake mix
1 c Kerns strawberry nectar
1/2 c oil
2 eggs
1/2 c strawberry jam
1 container of strawberry frosting (or make your favorite!)
1 dozen chocolate dipped strawberries
Mix together cake mix, nectar, oil and eggs for two minutes. Pour into two greased and floured round cake pans. Bake at 350 for approximately 30 minutes.
Remove cakes from pan. Place one cake on cake plate. Spread strawberry jam on this layer. Place second layer on top of first. Spread strawberry frosting all over cake. Top with a chocolate covered strawberry. Cut cake into servings, serve with a chocolate covered strawberry.
