Such a pretty cake and what could be more Christmas than gum drops!
ReplyDeleteThat is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love gumdrops but wonder how they are to cut. They must soften in the baking....
Becky
This looks like a recipe kids would love. Thanks.

That makes a beautiful cake and it has to be tastier than the fruit chunks that I thought they were. LOL!

sounds good! Happy Holidays!!
ReplyDeleteThat looks very pretty, but I'm afraid that I would get a bite of green or yellow gum drop... that would bum me out:)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the 4lbs! You go, girl!!
Terri,
ReplyDeleteJust read what you wrote on BittersweetPunkin. Good for you on reducing the debt.
There's so much good information about cutting our budgets without reducing lifestyle values on the Internet. It's a great resource.
My hubs was born and raised in Jeff City -- 10 years older than you though.

Yum! And so pretty to look at!
ReplyDeleteI love a simple recipe that looks so festive!
The gumdrops are all through that cake really nicely.
ReplyDeleteBecky K had a good question. I find that the gumdrops that are not completely covered in batter get a bit chewy during the baking, so I usually use a really good serated sp? knife, or even my electric knife for cutting.
