One of Ashley's college friends called Ashley and said her grandmother had to give up her Westie. Ashley then called us and asked if we would take him in. At first we said, no and then later, we changed our collective mind and said yes.
So, here is...Wilson!
and the one who thought this was a good idea.

Ohhhhhh Terri!!!!! I love that you and Bob did this and that Ashley convinced you!!!!!! Swwet little Wilson. It is sad his previous human had to give him up but thank GOD he went to a loving home like your's!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteAwwww what a cutie he is and I love the name Wilson for a dog:-) He's found a good home and I just know will get all the love he can handle!!
ReplyDeleteJust read your previous post about the Autumn breakfast you're planning...sure with I could be there, your menu sounds amazing!!! xoxo
Oh my goodness. Truman and Wilson. What a pair. At least you have the same color scheme going on here. Plus they'll be able to keep one another company when you're gone for a little bit. I think it's comforting for them to have a friend/sibling for that reason. You will have so many good times ahead. You best be picking out extra stocking stuffer now, cause you know, furkids need a Christmas stocking too!!!
ReplyDeleteHe's a cutie! How sweet of you to take him in.
ReplyDeleteAwww...Wilson is just a cutie...and I know he is going to be so-ooooo happy he has found a forever home. Truman will make a great dogling or doggie sibling. I'm just thankful you and Bob had a change of heart...I'm sure Ashley managed that little scenario quite well...after all she's a very smart and savy young lady!! So three cheers for Ashley and her awesome ability to sway her folks decisions...no matter how "set" they seem to be!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, big CONGRATS to you guys and Ashley for her new position as a teacher's assistant...I know this is a very proud and "welcomed" moment in all your lives!
Blessings...
Teresa
What a cutie (both!!)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your wonderful comments- it is hard- these days and moments do seem to be pressing in on us, but we are pressing forward. Thank heavens for Jesus, if we would just let Him carry some of this load...but it seems too early to be able to give it up.
Thank you for all your prayers and blessings!
Have a wonderful Labor Day,
kari & kijsa
Terri, Wilson is so cute. So glad you took him in. You will love having the two little ones in your house and going for walks with them.
