Super Easy Cake!
I saw this recipe in a magazine and had to try it!
Easy Cake
1 box of any flavor cake mix
1 12 oz can diet soda, any flavor
Mix the two ingredients, spray pan with Pam and pour batter into pan. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
Top with cool whip!
Think of the possibilities! Lemon cake with orange soda... carrot cake with orange soda... vanilla cake with strawberry soda... this is gonna be fun!

Oooh Terri! I do this!!! They give this recipe out to people on WW!!! Each piece or cupcake only has one point! and I love that it comes out supermoist!!!
ReplyDeleteOh how I wish I could eat cake! I would like to try this one. I am going to copy this and give it to my neighbor. She does not like to cook at all and is always looking for easy recipes. You are right, Terri, it would be fun to try those different combinations!
ReplyDeleteThe big question is.....how does it taste? It looks good and you are right so many possibilities. Do you know how many calories? What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog!

First, I have to say I love your new blog header/banner. It really is beautiful Terri.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the great recipe....I love quick and easy.
Terri--Have you read "Nineteen Minutes" yet? I just finished it. I've never read anything by J. Picoult before. She is a very complex writer. I'd love to hear what you thought (or think) so far. My friend who loaned me this book has read many of her books, the latest being something Heart....she said it was a great book, too.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Jen
Oh no! That sounds great and just what I do not need. Why do I gravitate toward the recipes so easily?
ReplyDeleteThanks for you sweet comment the other day. Yes, we both have excellent taste in Blogs!
Hope that your holiday weekend was marvelous!
I must have Chelsea make this for us. She really couldn't mess it up, could she? Poor kid...loves to bake but manages to do something wrong every time...
ReplyDeleteI feel badly for her....We will try this. It will boost her confidence.
