Truman!
We have adopted a dog from the Central Humane Society who was rescued from a puppy mill in Kirksville. He is a Cavachon, which is a hybrid dog of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Bischon Frise. He is delightful, perky, bouncy, energetic, loves to play and is so incredibly charming. Bustopher, our devil cat, doesn't like him but that is no surprise to any of us who know him!
He's pictured with his big sis Ashley, who is delighted to have another brother (Bustopher is her other brother) to play with. Truman seems totally taken with Ashley, too.
His birthday is June 26, 2007!

Awwww, I already love me some Truman!!!!! How wonderful that you and Bob opened your home and hearts to the little guy. Puppy mills are EVIL and I pray that one day they can be completely eradicated. You and Bob have done your part in helping to get to that point!!! You guys ROCK!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBig hugs!!!

What a sweetheart! How lucky is he to have been adopted into your loving family!!! Hopefully Bustopher (love that name) will give him a break...Hound sends her best to him...she says she's not adopted tho...(if she ever finds out she is, we'll have to move)

Hi Terri
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and welcome to the newest member of your family. Truman is a cutie pie and what an appropriate name!
I just saw your Daisy Delight post. The name sounds familiar. Is this across from the Mo Elec Coop. building on E McCarty? If this is the place, J's had lunch there a few times when in JC for seminars at the coop. building. I've never been there, though. I'll check out the link. Perhaps the next time we're in Jeff City, we'll stop by.
Have a great week. I'm celebrating my 200th post with a little giveaway.

I'm so happy that you and Truman found each other! What a sweet little boy he is. There is so much warmth and intelligence in his eyes. I'm sure he'll manage even to charm Bustopher before long.
ReplyDeleteAnd, to answer your question,of course, I'd be happy to have you add me to your blog roll and I'll add you if you don't mind.
