It's My Day!
It's my birthday!
My mother gave birth to me on a Thursday, November 17, in 1958. Yakkety Yak, Dream, Great Balls of Fire, and the Chipmunk Song were playing on the radio. My mom loves music, especially of the 50s and I am sure she was singing and dancing to these favorites.
The picture above is me at my first Christmas.

ReplyDeleteI was born in the 50s but I have much older sisters, who all loved 50s music.
I often turn the radio to a 50s station, it reminds me of my childhood and when my sisters were teenagers. :)
