It's a Party!
I love my craft closet. I used to be stuck in an unfinished room in the basement and I felt so uninspired. I had a whim to move it a couple of years ago to my computer room closet and I love it. I want to add a tiny ceiling fan or an adorable light fixture then I will be set!
We call this the Wall of Fame. I love it because it is so warm and invites people to look without calling attention to ourselves. We have funny things as well as important things on this wall so I think people don't see it as bragging.
I love my custom towels. The beach is my favorite place to go to relax, even though I live hundreds of miles to the nearest one. I bring the beach to me by surrounding my tub with shells and words and pictures of the beach.
Hope you enjoyed my part of the party!
Terri

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog! I love your Wall of fame and the way you call it that! Your home looks so welcoming, the towels are a fantastic idea!
ReplyDeleteYour craft room is too cute! Your wall of fame is just like the one I have, going down the stair and all. And your towels...well how cute are they? Eventually, I will turn my bathroom over to lighthouses and the beach. It will happen, some day!

So nice to find your blog from Karla..Lovely photos of a couple of favorite places in your home..I really LOVE the idea of making the bathroom as close to a beach as possible! The towels are perfect. I, too, live far from an ocean, but when I think of the beach I can feel the sand and smell the air.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
I love it when people have family pictures out. A home without family pics is just not a home. Looks great!

Hi just wanted to drop in and say hello, am loving reading your blog and seeing all your pictures. beautifull pictures of the leaves & trees and your lovely home. I went to see the nutcracker ballet with my dad when I was little and it is a beautifull sight ( referring to an older thread !).

I love it all Terri! I have toyed with the idea of using my closet as a craft/computer room. If my son ever gets his own place, I could use his closet for clothes and mine for the other! I love yours!!
ReplyDeleteI adore your tub and those towels!
Every home should be adorned with family photos. IT makes a house a warm home. Yours is so warm, pretty and welcoming!
Hugs,
Sue
