Ashley's internship
My daughter Ashley, who is a senior at Stephens College, completed her internship this summer at Victoria's Bridal, an independent bridal salon here in our city. Ashley had many wonderful opportunities which she "gets" to describe in her internship class this fall. I thought you would enjoy seeing some of her displays that she created for the salon's summer bridal show. I love weddings and I attended this event, both as a spectator and the Mother of the Bride!

Beautiful displays Terri. She's one talented young lady.
ReplyDeleteHi Terri...She did an amazing job with these displays. I imagine it was great fun for you to visit the event. Doubly so, being MoB and mom of designer.

I love weddings! And I love wedding shows. I had an idea of what I wanted in my wedding gown. No shiny satin, 3/4 length sleeves, not a ton of sequins. Very plain and eloquent. Then I tried on this dress. I ended up getting a high shiny satin, heavily sequined, capped sleeve dress. HA! But I did have a cathedral length train and 2 veils!
